３０日土曜日午前９時、トンキン湾にあった熱帯低気圧が台風１４号（ノンファ）に発達しました。
現在の中心気圧は９９６ヘクトパスカル、最大瞬間風速は２５メートルで、時速２５キロで西に進んでいます。
このあと、しばらく勢力を維持しながら西に進む見込みで、３０日夜にはベトナムに上陸、３１日日曜日午前中にタイを横断、同日午後にラオスで熱帯低気圧に変わる見込みです。
ベトナムには２５日月曜日に台風１３号（カジキ）が上陸したばかりで、この連続上陸で、さらに被害が拡大する恐れがあります。

At 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, a tropical depression over the Gulf of Tonkin strengthened into Typhoon No. 14, known internationally as Nonfa.
The storm currently has a central pressure of 996 hectopascals, with maximum wind gusts reaching 25 meters per second, and is moving westward at a speed of 25 kilometers per hour.
Forecasts indicate that the typhoon will maintain its strength as it tracks west, making landfall in Vietnam on Saturday night. It is expected to cross Thailand on Sunday morning and weaken into a tropical depression over Laos by Sunday afternoon.
Vietnam was struck just five days ago, on Monday, by Typhoon No. 13 (Kajiki). The back-to-back landfalls raise concerns of further damage and worsening impacts across the region.
