台風２０号が発生。沖縄は警報級の雨のおそれ

きょう午後3時、フィリピンの東にあった熱帯低気圧が台風２０号になった。
午後6時現在、中心気圧は996ヘクトパスカル、中心付近の最大風速は18メートル。時速30キロで西に進んでいる。
台風は発達しながら西に進み、あすはバシー海峡、あさって月曜日は南シナ海に達する見込み。
火曜日には中心気圧が985ヘクトパスカルまで下がり、勢力の最盛期を迎える。その後も西寄りに進路をとり、20日木曜日にはハイナン島付近に達する。
台風からの湿った空気が入る沖縄では月曜日から火曜日にかけて警報級の大雨になる恐れがある。

At 3:00 pm today, a tropical depression east of the Philippines became Typhoon No.20.
The central pressure is 996hPa and the maximum wind speed near the center is 18m/s. It is moving west at 30km/h.
The typhoon will continue to intensify and move west, reaching the Bashi Channel tomorrow and the South China Sea on Monday.
Central pressure will drop to 985hPa on Tuesday, reaching the peak of intensity. After that, it continued to move westwards and reached near Hainan Island of China on Thursday.
Warning-level heavy rain is expected Monday through Tuesday in Okinawa due to humid air from the typhoon.
