With sea surface temperatures in the surrounding area remaining high, there is a possibility that it could develop into Typhoon No. 11. According to the latest calculations by the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF), the system is expected to reach the seas south of Okinawa on Monday, September 9th.
